That doesn’t sound good at all. Any chance you can link us to a picture inside the head of it so maybe somebody here can suggest something?

I bought this light thanks in part to this review. I dropped it about 6 inches onto concrete and now it is permastuck in low mode. Tried messing with the spring. Nothing. It’s just broken. Nitecore AND the store I bought it from aren’t honoring the warranty. A shame because I love my Nitecore Extreme R2 and have used and abused it without a hiccup…
